Mark 10:17-31 Sunday School Lesson

In today’s gospel lesson, we read about a man who had a great desire to follow Jesus. This man, named Bartimaeus, was blind and had no other means of transportation. When he heard about Jesus, he went to follow Him. Jesus healed Bartimaeus and gave him back his sight. Bartimaeus was so grateful that he gave all of his money to the poor. Overview of Mark 10:17-

In today’s gospel lesson, we learn about Jesus’ final visit to Jerusalem. Jesus had come to fulfill many prophecies, and one of these was that he would be crucified. After his resurrection, Jesus returned to Jerusalem to fulfill another prophecy, this time concerning his second coming. In today’s passage, Jesus visits the temple and casts out all of the money changers. This is a sign that the temple will no longer be used for its original purpose. Overview of Sunday School Lesson

In today’s Sunday School lesson, we read about a man who was very sick. Jesus came to visit him and healed him. This is a great reminder that no matter how sick we are, God can always heal us.

The Rich Young Man

In today’s gospel lesson, we hear about a rich young man who came to Jesus asking for help. Jesus told him that if he wanted to be perfect, he needed to sell all of his possessions and give the money to the poor. The young man was shocked by this, but Jesus told him that it was the only way to be perfect. We can learn a lot from this story about how to live our lives. We should always try to be kind to others, and we should also try to help those who are in need.

In today’s gospel lesson, we heard Jesus’ question to the disciples. Jesus was asking them what they had seen and heard. He wanted to know if they had understood what he had been saying. Jesus wanted to know if they had been able to understand his words. Jesus wanted to know if they had been able to understand what he was trying to teach them.

In today’s gospel lesson, we read about Jesus’ response to the people who were asking him how to become perfect. Jesus told them that they need to go and learn from the prophets. He also said that anyone who wants to become perfect must be willing to give up everything.

When Jesus told them that he was going to leave them, they were heartbroken. They had grown to love and respect Jesus, and they were devastated that he was leaving them. Jesus reassured them that he would always be with them, and that they would always have his love.

In today’s gospel lesson, we heard about how Jesus surprised his disciples by returning to them after being gone for three days. Jesus had told them that he would be gone for just a short while, but they didn’t believe him. When Jesus returned, they were so surprised that they couldn’t speak. In today’s gospel lesson, we heard about how Jesus responded to the people who came to Him asking for help. Jesus showed them that He is always there for them, no matter what. He also told them that they should not be afraid, because He is with them.

The Lesson

The Value of Wealth

In today’s gospel lesson, we learn about the importance of wealth. Jesus tells a story of a man who had a great deal of wealth, but it didn’t matter to him because he had learned to put his faith in God. Jesus also tells a story of a poor man who had nothing, but he was able to find happiness because he had learned to put his faith in God. These stories teach us that wealth isn’t everything, and that we can find happiness even if we don’t have a lot of money.

The Value of Following Jesus

In conclusion, Jesus tells us that we are to love one another as He has loved us. He also tells us that we are to forgive one another, and that we are to serve one another. Finally, He tells us that we are to be humble. These are important lessons that we can learn from Jesus Christ.

Summary of the Lesson

In today’s lesson, we looked at the story of Jesus healing a man on the Sabbath. We also discussed how Jesus was breaking the law by doing this. We ended the lesson by looking at how Jesus is a model for us and how we can follow in his footsteps.

Call to Action

In today’s gospel lesson, we hear about how Jesus called his disciples to follow him. He told them that they would have to leave everything they had and follow him. He also said that they would have to be willing to suffer. This is a great call to action for us. We can all learn from Jesus’ example of following him even when it’s hard.
