Heavenly Father,
We come before You in humble prayer and supplication. As we enter this New Year of 2023, we ask that you would lead us in the way everlasting. May You guide us to make wise decisions and show us the path to walk in obedience. Cover us with Your righteous banner of love and mercy so that it will protect us from whatever comes our way.
Fill our hearts with peace and joy as we seek to grow closer to You throughout the year. Open our eyes so that we can understand Your truths, plans and purposes for our lives. Help us to put into practice Your commands and always strive to remain obedient to You no matter what may come our way.
We pray that our faith is strengthened by all of the trials, temptations and difficulties life throws at us this year. Help us remember that nothing is impossible when we are walking hand-in-hand with Jesus through each season of life. Purify our hearts so that everything that comes out of them will be pleasing in Your sight. Give us hope for better days ahead, even when all seems lost or overwhelming during moments of hardship on this earthy journey.
Lord, may you fortify each one of us with resilience and perseverance against the enemy’s schemes as we enter this new year together. May doubts be cast aside as trust increases within each person’s heart for your love, sovereignty and goodness in their lives no matter what situation may come their way throughout the upcoming months ahead..
Father God, help every believer soar higher than ever before into a greater depth within their relationship with Jesus Christ as they transition into 2023! We thank You for providing all things including salvation through Your precious Son! Bless everyone everywhere Lord; grant them strength & grace where need; blessings full & carefree days over the course of this next calendar year! In Jesus name – Amen!
