Answer
Deleting a Bible app works the same way as deleting any other app on your phone. The exact button names can change slightly between software versions, so if a step below doesn’t match what you see, check your phone’s own settings menu.
On an iPhone or iPad
Press and hold the app’s icon on your home screen until a menu appears, then tap “Remove App,” then confirm by tapping “Delete App.” You can also go to Settings, then General, then iPhone Storage, select the Bible app, and tap “Delete App.”
On an Android phone
Press and hold the app’s icon until options appear, then tap “Uninstall” (or drag the icon to an “Uninstall” area) and confirm. You can also go to Settings, then Apps, select the Bible app, and tap “Uninstall.”
A note before you delete it
Deleting the app removes it from your device, but it does not delete your account or any saved notes or highlights stored with the app’s service — those typically remain tied to your account and reappear if you reinstall the app.
